Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads Policy

Retro Smile advertises on Meta platforms — Facebook and Instagram. This page explains what data may be collected when you interact with our ads or visit the site, and how you can opt out.

1. Advertising disclosure

Retro Smile runs paid ads on Facebook and Instagram. If you clicked one of our ads to get here, Meta may share limited information with us about that click (such as which ad and campaign), and we may share back limited event data (like "this visitor viewed a page" or "this visitor booked an appointment") so Meta can report on ad performance and help us reach similar people.

2. Data collection & tracking

Where enabled, our site may use:

• Meta Pixel — a snippet that fires small events (page view, button click, booking completed) and forwards them to Meta.
• Meta Conversions API (CAPI) — a server-side companion to the Pixel that sends the same events from our server, which improves accuracy when browsers block third-party scripts.

These technologies may collect: your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view on our site, buttons you interact with, and — if you submit a form — hashed versions of contact details (email, phone) used solely to match your action to your Meta account for ad measurement. We do not send raw personal information to Meta for advertising purposes without your input.

We use this data to:

• measure which ads actually drive bookings,
• build custom audiences of past visitors so we can invite them back,
• create lookalike audiences of people similar to our clients.

3. Opt-out & user control

You control how Meta uses your data:

• Meta Ad Preferences — facebook.com/adpreferences and Instagram Ad Settings let you turn off ad personalization and disconnect off-Meta activity.
• Off-Facebook Activity — under Meta's Accounts Center, you can review and clear the activity businesses (like us) have shared with Meta.
• Browser controls — block or clear third-party cookies, or use private/incognito mode.
• Global Privacy Control (GPC) — we honor GPC signals sent by your browser as an opt-out of sale/share where applicable.

4. Results & claims disclaimer

Our Meta ads may include before-and-after photos and video testimonials from real Retro Smile clients. These are genuine results for those individuals and are not a guarantee of your outcome. Whitening results vary based on starting shade, enamel condition, lifestyle, and aftercare.
